Education and Training
Dr. Wendy Brafman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. She then attended the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland graduating at the top of her class. After dental school she was accepted and attended a General Practice Residency program at Christiana Care Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. This residency program provided extensive training for medically compromised patients, dental trauma cases, and those patients with extensive and difficult treatment plans.

With a history rich in dentistry, Dr. Brafman brings 22 years of dental experience to her patient's chairside and has participated with the Delaware Give Kids a Smile Program, the Delaware Medicaid Program, and the Mission of Mercy Volunteer Program. Dr. Brafman regularly completes continuing education courses to remain at the forefront of her field. Her unique perspective and professional background have given her an appreciation for a beautiful smile and the artistry of dentistry.

Personal and Hobbies
Dr. Wendy Brafman and Dr. Kevin Brafman met in dental school. A perfect match, both discovered they shared the same passion and energy for the practice of dentistry. The balance of Dr. Wendy Brafman’s outgoing personality and the reserved nature of Dr. Kevin Brafman’s personality provide a wonderful choice in what most patients are looking for in a dental provider. Following dental school in 1998 (Dr. Wendy Brafman) and 1999 (Dr. Kevin Brafman) they married and both completed their General Practice Residencies at Christiana Care. They then both worked in a practice in Bear Delaware prior to relocating to Dr. Wendy Brafman’s hometown to create Brafman Family Dentistry, P.A. in Dagsboro Delaware.
Besides dentistry, Dr. Wendy Brafman also has a passion for exercising, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and family. Dr. Wendy and Kevin Brafman reside in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and love to explore all that the Eastern Shore has to offer. They have 2 children Ryan (20) attending Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, and a daughter Zoe (18) attending Davidson College as well. Family is their most important commitment along with their combined love of dentistry. They are happy to be able to share knowledge about the profession together.
