Dr. Kevin Brafman is an accomplished dentist from Baltimore, Maryland. As the co-founder of Brafman Family Dentistry, Dr. Kevin Brafman and Dr. Wendy Wilson Brafman are proud to provide high quality dental care to families throughout Sussex County. Whether treating children or adults, Dr. Brafman takes time with his patients to tailor customized treatment options and offers exceptional customer service with a very gentle approach. He offers invaluable expertise in all facets of contemporary comprehensive dentistry.
Education and Training
Dr. Brafman is a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics. After time spent working in the field of mathematics, Dr. Brafman decided to return to school to study dentistry. His best friend’s father had been a dentist and he had always been fascinated by his career growing up. He gained his acceptance to the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland, and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1999. He then completed a one-year general practice hospital-based residency program at Christiana Care.
Skills and Expertise
Dr. Brafman is passionate about preventive dentistry and educating his patients about maintaining proper oral health for a lifetime. By practicing general dentistry it gives him the opportunity to do many different types of procedures. Patients find his gentle touch and kind nature to be so reassuring when receiving care that can cause anxiety. Dr. Brafman has also given many hours of his own time to the Give Kids a Smile Program and to the Delaware Medicaid Program.

Personal and Hobbies
Dr. Kevin Brafman and Dr. Wendy Brafman met in dental school. A perfect match, both discovered they shared the same passion and energy for the practice of dentistry. After completing their residencies in 2000 they both worked in the same general dentistry office in Bear, Delaware. They both knew that they wanted to open their own practice and after 2 years of working, they decided to make the move to the eastern shore where Dr. Wendy Brafman was raised. There, they opened their dental office and began the journey together offering family dentistry to an area that had very little access to care. Dr. Kevin Brafman has been committed to giving back to the community.
In his free time, Dr. Brafman loves boating, skiing, and exercising. His passion for supporting his hometown football team, the Baltimore Ravens, gives him the opportunity to return to his hometown for football games and to visit with his family who still reside in Towson. Dr. Kevin and Wendy Brafman also enjoy spending quality time with their family in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. They have 2 children: Ryan and Zoe are both students at Davidson College in North Carolina.
